We invite you to take advantage of a wonderful week with your Self, your parts and an IFS community at a mountaintop, paradise location. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your IFS practice using a somatic, body-centered approach and to transform your personal and professional life. You can participate in full-group experiential exercises, lively discussions, and small group work. 

 

The retreat is open to those with IFS experience, including IFS training, IFS experiential programs, ongoing IFS therapy, or an IFS retreat. Our Saturday to Saturday dates allow us to experience seven days and seven nights together, with ample time to relax and to take advantage of our beautiful location. You are welcome to bring a non-participating guest.

 

You will be nourished by the lush surroundings. The saltwater pool, the hot tub, optional world-class bodywork sessions and a choice of eco-adventures further support your experience. Monday morning is set aside for a group eco-excursion to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, which is included in the program. Wednesday is free for an optional excursion. You will have free time during the day, and most evenings are unscheduled. 

 

Three healthy and delicious daily meals are included. All meals have vegetarian options - lunch and dinner also serve fish or chicken. Dishes containing dairy or gluten are labeled, and no red meat is served. Fresh whole fruit, coffee and tea are always available in the dining room. Pura Vida works hard to accommodate special diets. The program begins at 4:30 PM on Saturday, March 14th, and ends in the evening on Friday, March 20th. You may book your departure anytime Saturday and you have the option of booking extra nights at Pura Vida. 

 

The per person retreat cost covers seven nights room, meals, the program fee, a half day excursion to La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, and transportation to and from SJO airport and Pura Vida. The cost varies with room choice and starts at $2,720 (least expensive rooming choice with double occupancy). Optional spa treatments, additional eco-adventures, and staying extra nights are an additional cost. 

 

The retreat leader, Nancy Berkowitz, is an IFS Certified Level 3 therapist and an IFS Approved Clinical Consultant with over 20 years’ experience as a therapist. She has been deeply involved in IFS since 2007 and has focused on Somatic IFS (SIFS) since 2010. She has a rich background in integrating somatic practices into her work and has extensive experience assisting IFS trainings and SIFS retreats and trainings.
